SPIRITUAL HEALING

Anyone who has ever wished for the restoration of health or the relief of pain for another, or felt compassionately towards another who is suffering, has the ability to heal!
That feeling of compassion for another is an expression of spiritual energy – you’re connecting when you feel loving or benevolent towards another; it’s the same universal energy which flows through all life, and which is directed during healing. So there’s no mystery, no ‘tricks’ to learn! Just a development on from the feelings you already possess – and this development, this tuning in to the energy within you, will flow naturally, at your own pace.
It is the physical body’s natural inclination to move towards wellness. Disease is dis-ease, where the body – through emotional or psychological trauma or stress – has moved off-frequency from the universal energy which flows harmoniously through a healthy body. The healer is a channel, tuning in and transmitting energy from the Source in which all life connects, to the body of the patient. Spiritual energy flows through them, (not from them) and is directed to the patient; the patient doesn’t have to be in a meditative state.
When learning to heal with no previous experience, you will naturally find – through quietening the physical mind in preparation, that you’ll reach an awareness of, and a connection to, the spiritual energies within yourself. There is no great challenge in learning to meditate; it’s an easy process to learn. A healer doesn’t ‘concentrate’ or ‘think healing thoughts’ – the opposite is in fact so.
